INTRODUCINGÂ
FULCRUM CONSULTANTS
Fulcrum provides contractual and commercial advice to the UK construction industry that is tailored entirely to suit the needs of its clients, whether that be preliminary advice to assess the merits of final accounts and appropriate cost effective steps to resolution, to the compilation/assessment of extension of time claims and loss and expense accounts, together with advice as to dispute avoidance and dispute resolution.
A BIT ABOUT US
Founded by Ryan Whittamore in 2014 with over 20 years experience in the construction industry,
Ryan is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Following on from his senior role in a large blue chip main contractor background, Ryan provides quantum advice, prepares extension of time claims / defence, together with strategies for dispute avoidance / resolution.

Fulcrum also provides support to those responsible for project delivery including commercial management, quantity surveying and contractual advice in live environments.

FINANCIAL CLAIMS
Understanding the legitimacy and worth of a financial claim is vital. We will provide you with our professional opinion on both aspects so that you can make an informed decision as to the best course of action.

We also understand that claims do not come along often, but when they do they require significant input from resources you may not have. Fulcrum can help prepare or defend financial claims to protect your business.

TIME CLAIMS
Understanding the reasons for delay on construction projects is key to determining culpability.

Fulcrum will work closely with you to help identify when the delaying causative matters occurred, appraise culpability for those matters so that extension of time claims can be prepared or assessed.

PROJECT DELIVERY
We believe that prevention is better than cure, which is why we would be pleased to offer our commercial management services to your staff in live project environments. Our services include contract reviews, project audits and key recommendations to prevent molehills becoming mountains.
